What’s going on here?
You’ve got a DIRECTV bill to pay by mail. Most recent bills list the address above, but if you’re using an older statement, verify the address on directv.com—mailing addresses can shift without warning.
How do I mail my DIRECTV payment correctly?
- Get your payment ready. Write your 11- or 12-digit DIRECTV account number on a check or money order. Never, ever send cash through the mail.
- Confirm the address on your latest bill. Flip to the “Payment Information” section. If it matches the address above, you’re good to go.
- Address the envelope properly. Copy the mailing address exactly as shown in the Quick Fix box. Use a pen that won’t bleed all over the place.
- Don’t forget the postage. A standard #10 envelope with one bill needs at least one First-Class Forever stamp (currently $0.68 as of 2026). Got a thick or padded envelope? Weigh it at the post office to be safe.
- Drop it in the mail. Toss the envelope in any USPS mailbox or post office box before the due date. Expect delivery and processing in 5–7 business days.
I tried mailing my payment and it didn’t work. Now what?
- Did you use the wrong address? Grab your current bill or head to DIRECTV support to find the latest remittance address. Older statements or random lists online might be outdated.
- Still no sign of your payment after a week? Call DIRECTV at 800-531-5000 and ask the rep to check if your payment came through. Have your confirmation number or check serial number handy.
- Paying for a business account? Business payments go to a different lockbox. Call 800-288-2020 to get the exact remittance address before you mail anything.
How can I avoid payment headaches in the future?
- Set up AutoPay. Log in on the DIRECTV website or the myAT&T app to automate your payments. They post within 1 business day, and you’ll never stress about missing a due date again.
- Save a record. Snap a photo or scan your check and envelope before mailing. Toss the image in a “Bills” folder in your cloud drive or email it to yourself for safekeeping.
- Review your bill-to address once a year. DIRECTV rarely changes payment addresses, but it’s smart to check your bill at renewal time. Make sure the zip code and P.O. box number are still correct.
